Cream Cake

This is the recipe for the cake I brought to class yesterday.

Cream Cake  

350 degrees 30-40 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean) 9 x 13 inch pan greased

4 eggs

1.5 cups sugar

2 tsp vanilla (or more to taste - I just pour in what looks right)

3 cups flour

2 Tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 cups heavy whipping cream

And love

Beat the eggs until thick. Beat in the sugar and vanilla. Mix the dry ingredients together and mix in alternately with the cream. Pour in the pan and bake!

This time I poured about 2/3rds the batter in the pan. The other third I added 3 Tbsp dark cocoa powder mixed then poured that into the pan to have a marble cake. Instead of frosting I just sprinkled it with powdered sugar.
