The last two weeks we have been studying Iron Shirt Chi Kung in Ninja Lab. This morning we took those experimental results and added them into training. We started by off balancing each other in a rear or a front hip throw.
From our compromised position we practiced finding gravity, then finding balance and finding power.
At first we did this in a step by step process slowly regaining our balance and taking their balance. As we trained the pauses between each step lessened until it was all done in one moment.
It was amazing how fast we reversed our compromised position to being in control. This is the essence of why we train, to take a compromised situation and turn it around so we are safe.
